Arizona Domestic Violence Statistics: According to the Maricopa Association of Governments, every 5 minutes, a law enforcement officer responds to a domestic violence call.  Each year, 4.5 million physical assaults are committed against U.S. women by an intimate partner (2010).  

According to the Maricopa Association of Governments, every 39 minutes, one or more children witness a domestic violence incident (2010).

* Unmet requests for shelter 8,468

* Police reports and Orders of Protection – 48,935

* Reports noting minors present – 12,099
